it's from a movie, it actually has little to do with Jesus or such, just crucifying for a religion in general. Normaly when your being crucified you don't have a choice, but if heaven is such a wonderful place and all with be better there and so on and so forth and one day you will be reunited with the love you left, then what's to complain about. My beliefs differ from that of the movie but i like the qoute, and I have little faith in the way people view and intepret their religions.

Well, I think being crucified while still loving those who do it to you is actually the sacrifice (the nails and three days - that needs some will). If you believe in such a thing, you could translate it to pumping positive energy into existence.
